This woody and musky blend includes top notes of Granny Smith apple, like it’s women’s counterpart, and pairs it with spicy bergamot, sour grapefruit and succulent mandarin orange. Middle notes of pink pepper and rosemary accompany a sweet and crisp apple gelato accord. This fragrance ends with base notes of creamy musk matched with amber wood and vanilla for a soft, cozy and sensual finish.

Designed Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana launched the Dolce & Gabbana label in 1985. The Italian fashion house made bold statements with its visually arresting couture and became the couture of choices for celebrities like Madonna. Hey, everyone Sharif here. And today I'll be reviewing Light Blue Love Is Love Pour Homme by Dolce and Gabbana. Now, this scent was released alongside a woman's version in 2020 and is dominated by sweet and citrus notes. An opening mix of Granny Smith apples, grapefruit, mandarin, and bergamot gives way to heart notes of sweeter apple gelato, and aromatic pink pepper, and rosemary, before leading into base notes of vanilla, musk, and amber wood. Neat.

My initial reaction wasn't that great because I was getting that wet dog smell at the very beginning. The same smell you sniff when you purchase a fresh fragrance online and it's been sitting in a warm environment during it's shipping/cargo transition. Nevertheless, the way it settles is a lot better than the first spray. Once it sits, you get like a beachy ice-cream alteration that adjusts into it's vanilla, slightly woody base. I like it, it's very nice. Just not strong. D&G Light Blue Sun lasts a little longer than this one though.
