Before she launched her own company, Donna Karan worked as the head designer for Anne Klein. She left in 1984 to create her own brand which she co-founded with her husband Stephan Weiss. In 1989, she founded Dkny, a subsidiary brand which focuses on a younger, more down-to-earth generation of women. While her company is primarily known for its clothing, it also sells handbags, intimates, home accessories, activewear and beauty products. All products are original, authentic name brands. I just love smelling like a lady!
I enjoy the fact that it is light and yet still noticeable in public. It last for a good while and is not oily or greasy.I would certainly offer this as a gift to any of my friends.

Womens perfume on a man
I just got my DONNA KARAN GOLD perfume. I'm so excited becuase it's very deep, dark and misterious. It has a sensual note, but it's ok on my (I'm a young male!) :) I'm so glad of buying this one! Great stuff for little money.

I first sniffed it on a paper in a store and found it really different, chic, classic and modern at the same time - if it is possible... The price at Fragrancex was so inviting that I HAD to buy it! Well, my first impression wasn't exactly what I was hoping for: sincerely it reminded me church's flowers/candles smell... On the other hand, it was changing into an agreeable fragrance, floral, clean but chic. I tried it again and now I'm in love with Gold! In fact lily and amber is the best description for that. Definitly it it not for anyone. Strongly recommend test it before you buy.

My Favorite Perfume
I have been using Donna Karen's Gold perfume for years. Everytime I wear it, people come up to me and ask what it is..."MMM..what is that perfume you have on?" I have been upset to find out that it has been discontinued from major Dept. stores here..such as Saks, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus..they said that it was discontinued because it was a "special addition"..someone in this company needs to get "on the ball" and get it back again!!!! It is excellent! Lasting!!!
