Faconnable was founded in Nice, France in 1950 by Jean Golberg. Starting out as a small custom-tailoring shop, the store grew rapidly, taking less than a year before it was tailoring for well-known Hollywood actors, making adjustments to their tuxedos and gowns when they were in France to attend the Cannes Film Festival. The company expanded to the United States in 1988 through an exclusive agreement with Nordstrom and is now owned by a Lebanese private equity group. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

out of the ordinary
What I like best about stripe is that it is not overpowering. Often men pour on cologne such that it becomes just too much. Stripe is unusual enough that it actually causes people to ask "what is that cologne?" A great ice breaker and I am pleased that it is not something that can be readily detected as some mass produced product
