This aromatic adventure launched in 2013 and is as peppy as it sounds, immediately grabbing your attention with top notes of lemon verbena, orange blossom, Italian lemon, and bergamot. Even if you choose black coffee over Earl Grey tea, that bergamot-citrusy boost is sure to have you up when the rooster crows. Middle notes contain cardamom, nutmeg, and rosemary, making for a delicious center. Base notes consist of none other than vetiver, along with sandalwood, white amber, and iris.

My only disappointment w Frank Olivier house

Vetiver is tough, it can have an antiseptic quality to it if not done well. Sunrise is very lemon citrus on the app but dries down to a chemical almost "bug spray" skin scent. The Vetiver is totally absent and instead we've got pledge and "Off". To be fair I love with intensity but dislike, similarly. I'm quite disappointed w this and will not be wearing it... I have 40 plus bottles now I really enjoy the hobby so I try to be as honest as I can both objectively and anecdotally. There are reviews here raving about it so who knows could just be this particular combination hits me wrong? But it really does

Best value for vetiver

Very reliable, bright, masculine, appealing. Quite sophisticated and layered, esp. given the price point. Goes Citrus > Spice > Wood.

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
