Simply fantastic. Elegantly Italian.
The aftershave is legit. Made in Italy and still has the break in the middle of the black plastic bottle cover, indicating that it's the older version. Amazing scent too. Vintage herbal woody, but elegant and not too animalic. It's a liquid too and not a lotion. But the cap is stoppered and not twist-on, so that could be an issue for some. Personally, I'm a big fan, but might caution those looking for something sweet and modern. This ain't that.

Original fragrance
Starts with sharp blast of few seconds...than the magic starts to work. It gets bitter, lemoney, herbal and spicey. I dont know how they manege this combination, it is changing every time I wear it. In the fall it gets really soapy/powdery with a hint of sharp herbs. in the summer fresh lemoney and very spicey. I preferred to wear this scent in fall and the winter.

this is a very manly scent but not overpowering.i haven't smelled anything like it. most people i know really like it, they dont have any idea what it is. it is very unique i would recommend it to all of my friends . it doesnt last as long as i would like, but its my favorite scent now. try it.

I've been using this fragrance since 1985 when it first came out! I when to this store where they handed out free samples and since then I was sold. But, after 10 or 12 years or so, they stopped selling it in Holland (where i'm from). So I had to buy it in other countries such as Spain or Italy. Then since a few years back, they even stopped selling it in Italy, where it's from! I couldn't believe it, but apparantly it's true. Now i'm glad Fragrancex.com can offer me the product, so that I can, once again, truly enjoy the best fragrance which is called Gianfranco Ferre!

My son uses this product when he goes out and for special occasions. He has been using it for years now, but it can't be purchased in the UK. Our regular supplier, in Hong Kong, has stopped selling it and this is the only place I could find it on sale.
