A creative Di Gio. A safe scent that will appeal to many!
PSA: It DOES NOT have a magnetic cap, it clicks into place. On to the review: I love this scent. Basically, it takes the Acqua Di Gio Absolu scent and adds tons woody notes. It's composed by arguably the most well known perfumer, Alberto Morillas. He has created of dozens of famous fragrances. He tends to create safe, fresh, mass appealing fragrances. This is no exception. It's not challenging to wear. It can work in the office, right after the gym, just chilling, etc. It is not offensive but some might not like this one just because it's a wood-heavy fragrance. This fragrance also has patchouli, which is similar to Profumo in how Profumo has that note too. Someone described this fragrance to me as a more "creative" version of the original Acqua Di Gio, and I think that's a perfect way to put it. It has that well known citrusy aquatic vibe, but it's modernized. You will also experience some of the sweetness from the Absolu flanker, but with lots of wood notes included. You will also get a hint of the patchouli from Profumo. I think up close, like right off your skin, it's polarizing. People will either love it or hate it. In the air however, it's gorgeous. It's fresh, sexy, and kinda enigmatic like Acqua Di Gio Profumo. For me, performance was lacking. Seems like others on the forums experienced the same. Expect 4-5 hours if you apply 2-4 sprays. I wish it came in a bigger size, but seeing how this is a limited edition, I certainly stock up.
