Extreme Purete Perfume by Gres, An aromatic ode to the draped dresses of Gres founder Germaine Emilie Krebs, Extreme Purete is an oriental fougere perfume. Top notes of bergamot and fig leaf open the fragrance with their fresh soapiness. This refreshing introduction contrasts beautifully with the soothing smoky heart notes of tobacco and cinnamon. Base notes of cedar, myrrh, tonka bean and vanilla melt together to produce a lingering, soft sweetness that adds to the fragrance’s heavy sillage. The title French fragrance house released the perfume in 2017. Karine Debreuil is the nose behind the fragrance.
