Love this Perfume!
Guerlain's Shalimar use to have a bath powder. I bought myself & my mother one every Christmas, it last that long & absolutely a beautiful soft silky scent! Please bring it back! Also, don't forget the fluffy powder puff!

I've of course tried other perfumes but always came back to my favorite, I couldn't tell you how many compliments I've received when wearing this beautiful scent.And most knew what scent it was. I've been wearing this perfume for 50 years so that should tell you that it's a great perfume!

I have worn Shalimar for over forty years. I especially love the shower gel. I usually buy the cologne fragrance but, recently, my husband bought me the perfume. It doesn't even smell like Shalimar! I'm not sure how I'll get through this large bottle. I question whether it is the same fragrance.

Great price, authentic product, reliable delivery
Product smells great and the cologne version makes it less oppressive in the heat that I live in. The downside to that is the longevity of the fragrance - it lasts for about 2h before requiring a top-up. After I'm done with this, I'll probably get a bottle of the Eau de Parfum but will only use that in formal events where louder scents thrive. Beautiful flacon though! I like the ribbed bottle a lot more than the look of the modern Shalimar EdPs.

This scent will be here forever

Bought mine years ago and always loved it.
I was in my early 40s when I first tried Shalimar. it was a birthday gift from my husband and I must say- I loved it! I wore it every time I wore perfume. However at one stage I found it very hard to buy Shalimar- it was just so scarce to find. I now have another bottle- a Christmas gift waiting to be opened. Love this Guerlain classic- spicy and earthy at the same time. It may not be for everyone- but that is the nature of fragrance- it suits certain people and I am one of them. I am in my early 70s now and I can say it is still one of my favourite fragrances, still. (I also love the very rare and expensive Balenciaga Le Dix, Chanel no 5 and Paola Picasso fragrance, too.)

Shalimar by Guerlain
I have smelled Shalimar on women for many years now but have never tried it until now. I don't recall every purchasing anything like it before. It is floral, yet spicy and reminds me of a trip I took to India about 10 years back. It also has an earthy, woodsy undertone. It is an exotic scent. It is beautiful with the opening and middle notes. However, the dry down doesn't last on my skin or clothes for more than three hours or so. I ordered the cologne, but I am going to order the parfum because it has more concentrated oils and may last longer. I love the exotic smell enough to pay for the parfum and the body lotion.
