Its been around for many years and it was very affordable then, but now very expensive but it has an unusual almond scent that's not overpowering and it does linger on all day. A lovely perfume. Guerlain Does have some lovely perfumes for men AND women.

Discovered Bel Ami 1988 in Paris and never looked back.
I use it lightly, because it persists all day, daily. I never tire of the scent. I feel an immediate kinship with anyone I notice wearing it. I've come to like it's cousin, Vel Ami Vetiver which has an added floral note.

A completely unique perfume
A totally unique bohemian style perfume that will help compliment an adventurous mood. There is nothing like the strong chypre in any other perfume I've encountered apart from another related Guerlain perfume L'heure Blueu which also has a long lasting silage, but is gentler than this in its effect.

CHYPRESS AND LIGHT
Unusual scent at first its a mixture of chypress a touch of oakmoss and jasmine. I notice the difference now it doesn't last as long as it did way back in the 80s its disapointing but good for anytime. Good for anyone that likes woody, spicy and musk perfumes.

Beautiful chypre
This is a classic and I think very unisex. I can see a man wearing this as well as a woman. This starts out earthy in the beginning, a dry earth that has just been misted over. The spices are light, not overpowering, the peach is lush but never gourmand, this is no peach pie fragrance, this is a warm embrace from a lover that pours out his/her affection to his/her beloved. This unlike perfume unlike her older sister L'Heure Bleue is grounded, warm, sensible, yet sensual. This is a very wearable perfume even for post modern's who appreciate style, elegance and truly sensual fragrances.

Great price for this classic scent.
This classic Guerlain scent still smells great despite being reformulated over the years. It isn't to everyone's taste but I certainly appreciate it's considerable charms. I would wear this to a formal event or for an interview. It is quite austere and would make people take you seriously.

A Winter Wonderland Fragrance
I purchased Mitsouko EDP 4 years ago. It never really appealed to me, so I sat it on my guest bathroom countertop for guest to explore. After an unsuccessful search for an oriental-spicy-chypre Winter perfume, I revisited Mitsouko. Mmmm! Now, it is among my Fall/Winter collection to be worn whenever I want to embellish my flesh with a spicy bite of cinnamon. It is warm, aromatic, with ripened fruits that rest on a bed of oakmoss. Smells like a fantasy winter forest where peaches, roses, jasmine, and spices grow seasonally amidst oakmoss, cedar, and vetiver. A bold explosion of spices opens the fragrance to pepper, clove, cinnamon, spritely oranges, and perhaps nutmeg. It mellows to oakmoss in the dry down; retaining much of its spicy accords. I'll wear this with reds, golds, and black attire for special holiday occasions. So glad I gravitated back to Mitsouko! Sillage: Enormous 10/12; Longevity: Long-lasting 10/10.

UNIQUE FRAGRANCE
I've used Mitsouko for over 25 years it has an unusual scent but not as good as it did way back then. It's not overpowering and a touch of oakmoss. Stays on for only few hours now.

I would not buy this or any perfume again from you company.
I began using Mitsouko 50 years ago,and it has been my "go to" perfume since the first spray. When someone said who is wearing the wonderful smelling perfume, it was me. The bottle I purchased from you looks like very week tea, the scent is gone before I walk out the door. VERY disappointing. I will not purchase from you again.

I've used Mitsouko on and off since I was in my twenties (I won't say how many years ago!) I didn't like the last bottle I got a couple of years ago - I thought they must have changed the formulation. However, the bottle I received from FragranceX smelled wonderful - just as I remembered it. Very happy with my purchase, and shipping was very prompt.

Smells great and then gone
I got my bottle of the Mitsouko EDT tester last week and have been wearing it most days since then. It smells lovely –– spicy, dry, clean, with the occasional breath of juicy peach. Comforting, warm. Only issue is it lasts for maybe an hour on my skin and then disappears. This could be my chemistry though, as it lasts quite well into the day on clothes, with a subtle sillage and delicate dry/soapy/spicy scent.
