I would buy the vintage version of Fougère Royale.
A very clean and easy to wear scent. It can be won most of the year. Moderate village and longevity.

A classy 'barbershop' scent
I was a little disappointed on spraying this initially as on first sniff it appeared typically generic, and I was hoping for something more unique, however, Fougere Royal really does grow on you after while. It is probably the best 'retro barbershop' type fragrance out there, and with its quite classy, well-formulated aroma, it can be worn to the most formalist of occasions. As my skin tends to gobble up fragrances, I have found the sillage and projection of FR to be fair only, and longevity likewise. It may perform much better on another person. So for me, I wouldn't purchase another bottle but I am glad I tried it.

A FANTASTIC CLASSIC
this fragrance is really unique and classic. it's a remake of an 1882 original by Houbigant. hardcore fans will tell you it's not the same, though unless those fans are over 75 years old, it's unlikely they smelled even the older version of this fragrance from the 1950s... either way, this is one of a kind, and will be my signature fragrace!

One of a Kind
this really is one of the best of the best. It was created in 1882 and shaped/changed men's fragrances forever! I will be using this as a signature scent from now on.
