Houbigant Cologne Intense Perfume by Houbigant, Perfumer Luca Maffei’s innovation and craftsmanship is demonstrated in full with Houbigant Cologne Intense, released in 2015.
The classic sensibilities of an earthy cologne are revitalized by exotic citrusy-aromatic notes and the finest of raw ingredients, particularly with a rich base that creates a longevity that is uncommon among such bold scents. The top notes form a vibrant accord spanning the Mediterranean and South America, with Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bermagot joined by Moroccan neroli and petitgrain from Paraguay. The latter half of the fragrance is just as exotic, with Indian jasmine joined by lavender and tarragon accents and enfolded in South American mate tea.
A long-standing perfume house, Houbigant was established in Paris of 1775. In time, the business grew from a modest shop with a hand-painted sign out front to a premier perfumer for nobility across Europe. Even with a variety of modern fragrances within the 20th and 21st centuries, the fundamentals of their formulas stay true to classic designs. All products are original, authentic name brands. Today I'll be reviewing
Cologne Intense by Houbigant.
This scent launched in 2015
and is best suited for spring,
summer, and fall day wear.
It's definitely a scent you
should try for yourself.
It opens with notes of bergamot,
lemon, petitegrain, and neroli.
That's followed by
a heart of lavender,
pink pepper, jasmine,
and tarragon, base notes
of incense and mate tea.
This is long lasting, and I
personally really like it.
