Michael Boadi created the Illuminum brand of fragrances in 2011. Boadi is a British hair stylist and perfumer who has styled for some of the world’s top fashion magazines, photographers and designers. His big break in the fashion industry came in 1994 when he styled for a Vogue magazine fashion shoot. He has styled a multitude of celebrities including Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Björk, Kate Moss and many others.
Boadi created 16 unique perfumes and colognes for the launch of this brand. The company now offers over 40 scents in its collection. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Very different to what I expected
I found the smell of this perfume very different to what I expected and not at all what I associated with the name. However that is not a bad thing. It has a base note that I can't quite identify but the beauty is that it develops as it warms to my skin temperature. It is, therefore, a fragrance that is very well made where different notes come to the forefront as it develops on my skin. It smells different on cooler days as opposed to warmer days. For me, I liken it to listening to an opera in the middle of a forest - you can hear the noise of the birds and insects but that sound blends into the background as the crescendo of the song takes over.
