Illuminum is a modern fragrance brand that was established by hair stylist Michael Boadi in 2011. The original collection included 16 unique fragrances featuring eight ingredients in each. Now, the brand boasts dozens of different scents that celebrities all over the world have taken notice of. These fragrances have been linked to figures such as Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Rihanna and Kate Middleton.

Boadi was born and raised in Paddington, London. He moved to New York to pursue a hair styling career and quickly emerged as a young talent in 1994 after working on a Vogue magazine fashion shoot with photographer Nick Knight. He later worked on ad campaigns for brands like Gucci, Chanel and Missoni and styled fashions for Madonna, Janet Jackson, Kate Moss and more.
