It opens with refreshing notes of bergamot and mandarin along with the herbal flavors of basil, cassis, and cardamom. The heart has a delicate white floral scent with its modest additions of French orange flower, neroli, and lily of the valley. The base is brisk and sweet with the scents of cedar, musk, and moss with just a touch of violet and vetiver. The scent is rich and complex, but not overpowering, making it ideal for adding a touch of lightness for everyday use. This latest launch of a classic fragrance is from 2013.

Light and Fresh

I was doing a 'search by notes' on a perfume site, and this came up. I'd not heard of it before, but it had the notes I wanted and it wasn't too expensive so I ordered a bottle. I absolutely love it - I ordered 2 more bottles right away so I wouldn't run out. It opens with citrus and basil which give a fresh 'greeness' to the floral heart of neroli and lily of the valley. The base is earthy, vetiver and moss with light musk. I do wish it had more longevity, but since it's not pricey I can afford to re-apply throughout the day.

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Nice, but not the original Nectaroma!

Original Tuvache Nectaroma was my most favorite fragrance. The "reissue" by Irma Shorell who apparently bought Tuvache is nothing like the original.

Bottom Line

No, I would not recommend to a friend.
