Isabella Rossellini was born in 1952 and is known for her career in acting, modeling, and writing. She delved into the world of perfumery in 2000 after modeling as the face skincare brand Lancome for 14 years. She also appeared in the works of Madonna during the 1980s, including Madonna’s controversial book, Sex, and the 1992 music video, Erotica. Today the designer has 5 perfumes in her collection, and the latest was released in 2006. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

I wanted to like this one. I don't hate it. I don't love it. An average, unobtrusive scent that could be worn daily, to the office or shopping, but don't expect any compliments. Its not bad, or good. I wouldn't recommend it, nor buy it again.

Lovely at first
It smelled so lovely at first. Exceptional. Like an elegant, sophisticated Italian woman. But the drydown, the penetrating chemical scent, was intolerable. Why do they have to use this chemical?

Service is super as always. Thanks to FRAGRANCEX! About perfume: Everyone has his own taste. For me, this scent is awful! I can say only that if someone wears Manifesto, I would leave a room to avoid asthma attack. I got the sample because I was told that this scent of Manifesto reminds Envol by Lancôme. Not even close! This is strong flowery smell that is hard to wash away from the skin. I will never buy perfume without pretesting.

Love my perfumes. Old classic mostly from Chanel to Van Cleef Arpel, Boucheron, Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin, Ninna Ricci, Estee Lauder, Cacherel, Rochas, Etc. Alternate between brands. L Fowden

Unusual and bewitching

Very Special Scent
A beautiful, nostalgic, wholesome sort of fragrance. I carry a vial in my bag in summer to spray on my kids (and myself) because the basil scent is a wonderful insect repellent!

Not my taste..
I love My Manifesto by Isabella Rossilini but this had a weird untone in the fragrance initially and I cannot tell if it lingers. It is very fresh but the undertone is a wood of some sort. Will stick to My Manifesto which to me is zingy and clean.

I am a very happy customer in general. Most fragrances are unique and wearable, but this is the first time when I wished I could return the item. I was not ready for such a common fragrance - I recognized most of my kitchen spices. :( I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this fragrance to any friend.

I truly believe that MANIFESTO is the best-kept secret of the perfume industry. It's a shame that this fresh, green, natural scent never got the attention it truly deserves. I believe this is a scent that anyone can wear. It's light, crisp, almost peppery when you first put it on, then it softens with a nice hint of floral underlay. It's perfect for the workplace - I work with women who are very sensitive to perfumes and this one is light enough that it doesn't bother anyone. It stays close to your body; it doesn't overpower the people around you.
