Fusion D'issey Cologne by Issey Miyake, Fresh and warm accords create a tranquil yet compelling impression in Fusion D'Issey, a woody aromatic composition enhanced by elements of fruit, spice, crisp herbs and amber. The opening is an inviting, light effusion of coconut water infused with green nuances of fig nectar and bright hints of sparkling lemon. Aromatic and menthol accords envelop the heart in energizing profusion, mingling rosemary, eucalyptus and peppery geranium leaf with warm hints of green cardamom and nutmeg. A tranquil base of ambrox and floral-green salicylate merges with blended woods, earthy-sweet patchouli and velvet-soft, serene sandalwood to leave a smooth, uplifting trail.

This fougere fragrance was first launched in 2020 by the Japanese fashion and scent designer Issey Miyake. Other popular masculine compositions by his label include the citrusy and spicy woody aquatic fragrance L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme (1994), the woody spicy amber Nuit d’Issey Bleu Astral (2017), the woody and citrusy aquatic musk Shade of Lagoon (2019) and the woody aromatic aquatic L’Eau Super Majeure (2018). Hey, everyone, Justin here. And today I'll be reviewing Fusion d'Issey by Issey Miyake. This scent launched in 2020 and was composed by perfumer Natalie Lawson. I'd best describe it as having a very strong, woody character. Though there's a really strong coconut water note in the opening that gives it a little tropical quality to it. Other notes include fig nectar, lemons, rosemary, geranium, cardamom, ambroxan, and patchouli. Overall, I'd recommend it most for spring and summer thanks to the coconut. Just No. Not for me. I order samples so I don't make a mistaken purchase, saves money, Give it a try. It might work for you chemistry.I have a moderate yet eclectic collection, I really enjoy Fragrance X and I also shop designer sites, I'm picky. Depending on seasons, events, from work to play but this didn't fit in.

Maybe for you, not me

Like everyone I apply EDT, Parfums, Cologne, in my own way depending on the event and sillage. I applied it sparingly for a casual evening at home just chillin'. Absolutely did Not fit with me. you may like it. Just not my cup of tea. It was still lingering the entire next day. 😳
