Embarrassingly small bottle....
Bought this as a hostess gift for around Valentine's Day. It is TINY and I'm too embarrassed to give it to anyone. About the size of something they'd give you for free at the mall. Bad value although the scent is nice.

weak baby powder
All notes smells exactly like baby powder. Within 2 hours your straining your olfactory sensors to even detect that you had put it on. When I'm testing a fragrance I only place it on my wrist and inner elbow so its not always in line of my nose to affect my sensing it later. By 3-4 hours its gone. In my book a fragrance you must carry around and constantly apply is inconvenient and no bargain.

An Unexpected Find
It makes me feel very nostalgic as It has been around for quite a while: it was one of my mother's favorite and the aroma identifies to the old classics which are my kind of perfume. Although I have had nothing but the best compliments from people, I have noticed that the males are more sensitive to the scent.

Classic Jem
After last reformulation it's definitely far away from being original formula. Once it was an evening scent / special occasions fragrance and good enough for cold weather too. The modern version Eau de Perfume is very gentle / light ,so you can easily wear it during day time and even during hot / summer seasons. It's very unique fragrance with peachy and sweet character. It's not heavy oriental at all! You can detect some spices and flowers in the background, but everything is very balanced and harmonized. New version is great for office too, cause its not overpowering. Sweet elegant classic concoction. Next time I'll try to find Elixir version of this one.

A classic and classy perfume
I keep reordering Fath de Fath. I have become so used to it. It opens up fresh with citrus notes and then evolves into a soft, lingering oriental scent. There is some wood in there also. It is perfect for the Fall and Winter.

Nice, nice, very nice
Thinking that I would enjoy the perfume judging it by the ingredients listed, I went ahead and ordered a sample. Compliments followed. To get a good layering effect, I ordered the body lotion. It is very true to the perfume - perhaps a bit more clinging - the perfume is more of an aura - but really enjoyable because the scent stays true in the dry-down base notes. It may well become my signature.

A rare find
Thinking that I would like this oriental scent because of the ingredients listed, I ordered a sample vial and my nose was not at all disappointed. I now feel more and more comfortable with this perfume - it sort of grows on you and may well become my signature line. The full aroma dries down beautifully and is long lasting. Layering it with the body lotion makes a beautiful statement. Because I also have Royal Secret I could not help comparing these orientals - both have a full round base but I believe that Royal Secret is more ethereal and Fath de Fath is more grounded.

Fath (1953)
I have been very pleasantly surprised with this one. It is as good as I had read it would be. This is a real gem from the 1950's. It is sweet, but not cloying. I would love to see it in a bigger bottle though. Buying it in the mini size makes it very expensive. Bring back the 100 mls. size, please!
