Jardins D'ecrivains Gigi Perfume by Jardins D'ecrivains, Like the playfully naughty Parisian seductress that inspired it, Jardins D'ecrivains Gigi is a saucy, unapologetic fragrance sure to lend an extra punch of boldness to its wearer.
Its appeal lies squarely in its sweet and sour notes, reminiscent of both freshly cut grass and tender spring blooms. This floral woody musk opens with a flourish of sweet orange blossom and neroli. White florals blend with bitter black currant for a rapturous middle. Bottom notes of musk and sandalwood create a mellow close.
This scent is a 2013 creation of Anais Biguine, founder of Jardins D’ecrivains. The Parisian house has built a reputation for its inspired fragrances comprised of authentic French materials.
This scent was inspired by Gigi, a celebrated 1944 novella in which a beautiful and mischievous Parisian girl learns the ways of courtesan love. love this scent, but not sure this product is authentic
I fell in love with this scent when I received a sample direct from the perfumer. It's potent but not cloying and lasts forever. The full bottle I received from FragranceX doesn't smell nearly as strong going on, has a chemical undertone, and vanishes in a couple of hours. Disappointed.
