Les Nuits D'izu Perfume by Keiko Mecheri, Summertime is encapsulated in a bottle when you spritz yourself with the citrusy and woody fragrance Les Nuits D'izu. Released in 2010, top notes of Japanese citrus fruit yuzu and Hinoki wood tickle the nostrils and blend into a delicate floral bouquet that makes up its middle notes. Is that the light scent of rose or jasmine? It’s both, actually, and is finished off by base notes of warm musk and natural mossy scents.

Designer Keiko Mecheri and her husband Kamel founded their company in 1997, selling fragrances for the home as well as`scented candles. Eventually Keiko’s love for things that smell beautiful shifted the focus of the company exclusively to perfumes, and they set up their shop on Sunset Boulevard in California. Ms. Mercheri was born in Atami, Japan, a place known for its natural beauty and pleasant climate which could perhaps be her earliest inspiration to create natural-themed fragrances for a living.
