Kenzo Amour Florale Perfume by Kenzo, Hitting the market in 2009, Kenzo Amour Florale is a spring bloom of fresh and romantic fragrances. Meant to be worn during the daytime when flowers awaken from a long winter hibernation, this perfume sets the right tone for any adventure. The top notes are a sweet mixture of neroli, cardamom, grapefruit and black currant. The heart notes summon a garden of gardenia, frangipani and rose. The base notes are musk and Virginia cedar. Daphne Bugey lent her design expertise to craft this perfume.

Kenzo Takada is the founder of his eponymous fashion label which he began in Paris, France in 1970. His first store was called Jungle Jap, best known for its iconic tiger print shirt. Lorde, Rihanna, and Beyoncé have all been known to wear clothing from that boutique. While Takada initially only made clothing for women, he eventually released menswear in 1983. Fragrances and home collections followed in 1987. The fashion conglomerate Lvmh purchased the business in 1993, but Takada stayed on until his retirement in 1999.
