Raised amongst the family cognac business as the grandson of the founder of Lvmh, Hennessy got into perfumery after writing a thesis about odors. He then went on to create perfumes himself for other brands before launching his own niche perfume house. The company is very eco-friendly, and focuses on sustainability with their uniquely reusable and refillable packaging for their perfumes. Handbags also became part of the company’s offerings in 2011.
