Passage D'enfer Eau D'encens Perfume by L'artisan Parfumeur, Passage D'enfer Eau D'encens is a mysterious, Oriental and smoky perfume for women. The scent is a one-of-a-kind mélange of sweet and spicy lily and warm and resinous incense, beautifully complemented by hints of musk and woodsy notes of cedar. The scent is said to have been inspired by the cathedral-like Paris home of the perfume house in the 1970s. This intriguing and captivating fragrance was released in back in 1999. L'artisan Parfumeur is French for “the craftsman of fragrance.” The perfume house’s founder, Jean Laporte, who had trained as a chemist, earned that title when his pal’s friendly challenge to create a banana scent was a smashing success. This led to some more experimenting, cultivating Laporte’s passion for fragrance, and a brand was born. Today, the company’s product line can be spotted quickly in their smoky and uniquely heptagonal glass bottles, evoking the look of a 19th century apothecary. Hey, everyone. Rachel here. And today I'll be reviewing Passage d'Enfer by L'Artisan Parfumeur. This high end fragrance launched in and is a very simply composed one. Additionally, the name translates from French as either, "rite of passage" or "the gates of hell." So it's intense, no matter what you use it for. The dominant note in this scent is one of incense, supported by notes of lilly, wood, and musk. I really think it works well as a special occasions fragrance. Different

The product is different with the pictures showed on the website. I want the old type which is a transparent bottle with red label as the pictures show to me. But I received a new type one which is a dark bottle with white label.
