Could Become My Signature Scent!
The first note you get is the West Indian Bay Leaf, then the vanilla comes forward and the gentle warmth and spiciness. This is such an elegant, classy fragrance, not overly sweet, I absolutely love it. This may have to become my signature scent! Lasts for hours, though after 3-4 hours, it sits closer to the skin, but I can detect it up to 6 hours later. Probably would work best in cooler weather, but I'd say it's good in all but summer.

It smell gorgeous, spicy vanilla and cherry pie, not simply perfume, very bright but in the same time softly and cozy. I recommend to try who likes warm, moderately sweet perfumes.

lovely gourmand fragrance with a green twist
This is a great fragrance for those who love gourmand style perfumes,a nd it can certainly be Unisex. Behind the vanilla, there are fresh green notes that make add interest and make it less cloying than other gourmand-type perfumes. After a few hours it becomes a skin scent on me, but at this price point I don't mind re-applying. It reminds me a lot of Fete Delicieuse by Dior, but with more personality.

One of my favourites
I am very pleased with purchase, exceeded expectations, already one of my favorites scents. I would describe it as powdery and oriental/woody/spicy, don't get that vanilla too much (thank god). It's great to wear whole day. One of those classical scents which is just right, stands out without risk of suffocating others. Lasts well, definitely can smell it on the clothes couple of days later. Feminine but not flowery (hurray), on overall great.

Lalique Le Parfum is something amazing for modern perfumery. Here is laurel, vanilla, patchouli, bitterness and sweetness at the same time... Very powdery. Sweets a little, but this powderiness!!! The fragrance is a little cheeky, but very pleasant. You do not get tired of it, although it is quite persistent and bright. Very different from other vanilla scents, it has its own personality.I recommend it to lovers of oriental aromas.

~ This is amazing ~
I'm not a lover of " vanilla " it makes me sick to my stomach , not sure why , it seems to turn on my skin and chemistry and becomes a sickly sweet no matter what other notes are present . If Tonka Bean is present along with the usual Amber , or Benzoin it makes it even more unbearable for me . This however is beyond perfect , it is more spice that vanilla , I can tell there is a earthy / green note which I'd bet is that lovely leaf . I'm so happy to finally have a nighttime scent to go with my Vera Wang Rosebuds & Vanilla daytime favorite . I'll always have this in my collection . I'm very pleased , and Fragrancex delivers in a few short days ~ Thanks , I love this ~ ///=^} ~

Lovely vanilla
This is lovely vanilla fragrance with a nice twist from the bay leaf. I'd say the bay leaf gives the fragrance a herbal feel, so the vanilla isn't sweet or bakery like. If that's what your looking for, then I'd try other vanillas. In the beginning it's fresh herbal and then settles into a spicy vanilla. Great for colder weather, isn't heavy or overpowering and suits many occasions. Longevity is good. Definitely try it if you are looking for a different take on a vanilla. Bottle is beautiful and the price doesn't match the fragrance or bottle at all - looks and smells way more expensive than it is. Highly recommended.

WOW! GREAT SURPRISE. AN AROMATIC OF DELICATE TOBACCO WITH VANILLA DRIES TO AN ADIDICTIVE AROMA OF SPICY VANILLA AND STAYS ON THE SKIN FOR HOURS. I PUT IT BEFORE GO TO BED AND WOOK UP WITH A HINTS OF VANILLA ON MY SKIN. THE BOTTEL IS HEAVY AND IMPRESSIVE.I WILL DEFINITELY BUY IT AGAIN.

Unique smell!
This a deep love for me..Not your usual scent. It is sweet and fruity but also smokey, woody, like there's a lingering ashtray note that somehow blends really well with vanilla and the fruityness of this perfume.

This perfume is the perfect blend for me! I have an extremely hard time finding perfumes that work with my body chemistry. I found this fragrance in 2011 & it's Still my go to fragrance. The prices Perfume X are much more affordable than in retail stores.
