Judith Peto was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1921. Here, she was the first women to join a group of artisans who made purses by hand. Her Jewish family survived World War Ii and Judith married American soldier, Garson Leiber. She and her husband immigrated to the U.S. in 1948, where she began working in different design houses. By 1963, she had established the Leiber brand and soon became world-renowned for her couture purses made of leather and fine crystal. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
