He spent some time working for the Perry Ellis company and later Louis Vuitton as its creative director. Everyday I use it, it stays with my cloth even wash. I love it, it's an awesome perfume I'll buy it anytime, even now I'm looking for it.

If you love gardenia, this is for you...
Very sweet white floral. I probably won't use it very often as I prefer some citrus and spicy or woody notes combined with floral.

MJ without the original acquatic note
If you own Marc Jacobs original, no need to have this one. On the other hand, if you don't like the acquatic-gardenia aspect or the ozonic note of MJ original, so you should try Essence. It's a stronger MJ without the original acquatic and ozonic note. Essence is a soft and creamy gardenia, with a nice staying power (on my skin).

Love this fragrance. It ...
Love this fragrance. It is the true essence of Gardenias. I receive so many compliments. It is a "soft" fragrance. Even with my allergis I have no problem wearing this.
