Wood And Absinth Perfume by Mark Buxton, Wood and Absinth is a spicy, woodsy perfume designed for both women and men. The unique fragrance begins its journey with tangy notes of orange, earthy notes of clary sage and anise-scented notes of absinth. The center of the blend is warm and floral, featuring jasmine and rosewood. At its base, the perfume includes notes of citrusy vetiver and warm, woody cedar. The fragrance made its debut in 2008.

Mark Buxton is the man behind 13 fragrances, all of which are intended for wear by both women and men. “I am fond of short formulas, absolute simplicity, [and] raw materials,” he says. “[I] shake them with a daring modernity . . . but always with an aesthetic obligation." The edgy designer is originally from England, though he was raised in Germany outside of Hamburg. Currently, he is based in Paris, the epicenter of fragrance, where he works on his scents.
