Masaki Matsushima studied at the Bunka Fashion College and later released his first line of perfumes in 2001. The Japanese creator also works in fashion and successfully launched his first collection in 1992. His scents traditionally incorporate letters from his last name into their fragrance names. Mat Tokyo Smile is no exception to the tradition. The fragrance was released in 2012 and holds true to the designer’s effort of weaving together contemporary applications and traditional Japanese components.
