Les Nombres D'or Rose Perfume by Mona Di Orio, A trip around the globe, from America to Eastern Europe, to the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia,Les Nombres D'or Rose blends scents from all the corners of the world. The joyous top notes include clove and bergamot, but white peach and aldehydes are the strongest openers. The middle notes are warm and earthy, with Egyptian geranium, powdery heliotrope, leather and both Bulgarian and Turkish roses. The dry down fades to a regal mix of benzoin from Thailand, Madagascan vanilla and Peruvian balsam. This perfume, launched in 2012, is a classy, mesmerizing mélange.

Mona Di Orio grew up in France and earned a Fine Arts and Literature Degree. Beginning in her youth, Mona was fascinated by fragrances and she reached out to famed perfumer, Edmond Roudnitska. He became her mentor and after working with him for 15 years, she opened a self-named perfume house, with Dutch partner, Jeroen Oude Sogtoen. Mona died in 2011.
