Being a product of the acclaimed Italian brand Monotheme, this scent has a touch of elegance and wealth that speaks to the people who have a feeling for enduring beauty. Demonstrating the opulent aspect of oud wood, this perfume serves as a journey where you get to mingle rose and oud. Therefore, it is a very appropriate choice for those who look for diversity and intricacy in their fragrance collection.

Fragrance Family:

Oriental Floral

Scent Type:

Woody, floral, spicy

Notes:

The opening of Monotheme Rose Oud dazzles with fruity top notes, offering a subtle sweetness that gently transitions into the opulent heart of the fragrance. A slightly fruity sweetness of these notes makes place for the exclusive heart of the perfume. The middle notes deliver a grand arrangement of split rose, which is warm and romantic at the same time, and perfectly complemented by the spicy notes intensifying the depth of the scent. The base notes unveil the authentic oud wood that brings both the feelings of mystery and peace, together with the warm touches of amber and musk, which ultimately extend the aroma's storyline.

Suggested Use

To fully experience the lavish scent of Monotheme Rose Oud, spray lightly onto pulse points such as the wrists, behind the ears, and at the base of the neck. This ensures that the fragrance blossoms with the warmth of your skin, offering a lasting impression throughout the day. Ideal for evening wear or special occasions where elegance and presence are essential, allowing the rich, spicy, and floral notes to unfold beautifully.

Hey, everyone. Gabrielle here and today I'll be reviewing Rose Oud by Monotheme Fine Fragrances. This 2013 release is part of a collection of Eastern inspired scents by the house and this is one of my favorites. Roses and Oud of course, dominate the scent, supported by notes of elemi resin, geranium, patchouli, lemon and Amber. I recommend it primarily for fall and winter nightwear. As like many Rosy Oud scents, it's kind of ideal for a date night, especially for a cozy night in. That's all for now. And I hope you enjoyed this review. Blind Buy

After 5 minutes this perfume starts to come alive. If you're an Oud lover, you will like it. It is long lasting. The price was nice, at checkout they offered half off on a second bottle, had I known it was a keeper I would had bought 2 bottles. I applied 2 tiny spritz to my elbow and it is very noticeable. This is my second Oud fragrance. I am on the hunt for another Oud fragrance.

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

One of the best

One of the best perfumes I've ever tried. Opens up with strong balsamic notes but soon settles down to a cocoon of velvety rose and wood. Oud here is very wearable. Good quality, great longevity. If you like rose and oud combo, it is worth trying.

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Niche Rose Oud

Monotheme Rose Oud is an absolutely great purchase . . . especially for the price !! If you like the combination of Rose and Oud with a kick, this just might be for you. To me, this one is best suited for a man/woman that has experience with niche fragrances, as it has a definite Middle Eastern vibe, leaning more on the masculine side. I can see this making a statement when I'm all suited up for a special occasion in the evening. Monotheme Rose Oud is dry, rosey, oud/woody, with a spicy nuance that is suited for the 30+ crowd that has the charisma to pull this one off. Confidence is key to pulling this one off . . . without it, it may wear you ! Best worn in the cooler/colder seasons. I can't see me ever wearing this on a warm/hot Summer's day. 8.5/10

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
