Aoud, also known as agarwood, comes from agar trees in southeast Asia. The trees produce the resin as a defense mechanism against the Phialophora parasitica fungus. It is then stored in cellars for a long time before it is ready for distillation. The oil has been used in the Middle East as incense and medicine for thousands of years, and monks in that part of the world believe in its calming effects. It is considered 1.5 times more valuable than gold, earning it the nickname "the wood of the Gods."
Pierre Montale, the founder of the company that produces this perfume, worked with oriental fragrances for years as a nose for the royal family in Saudi Arabia. Simply AMAZING
Honey Aoud is simply amazing - no other words describe it. My best description is it smells like sweet wood. Its long lasting, with great sillage but never overpowering. You will receive a lot of compliments.

Stunning scent with huge power
I get in to this on cool special occasions, when I want to stand out. Not blind buy safe unless you know the powerful Montale frags well.

Better than expected. Test first, as it's polarizing.
Very strong, use sparingly, in cooler climate. Amazing scent, but not for everybody. Not much compares to this, even clones like Azraq. This should be sampled to be believed. Love it.

Great scent
I have received compliments from men and women. It is a semi sweet, spicy oud fragrance. Lasts on my skin for 12+ hours. Strong projection for about 4 hours and then gives a nice scent bubble for hours. Nothing negative to say about this fragrance.

Simply the best
This is one of my new favorite scents. It's powerful (a beastmode) fragrance but not over powering. It's a unisex fragrance with a wide range of flexibility with usage in the different seasons. This fragrance is amazing!

This is one seriously unique fragrance! It's going to be polarizing so DO NOT blind buy this one! Personally? I think it's daring and different and amazing. Not one to wear to the office, per se, but one to wear on a special occasion.

Great smell....
Intoxicating Fragrance....... unfortunately does not last very long on my skin, but lingers if sprayed on my clothes. I LOVE that fragrance....just surprise that it does not have staying power since it is a MONTALE fragrance....
