A dry fruity oud fragrance!
Montana Graphite Oud opens with a synthetic alcohol and then quickly (after about 20 seconds), starts drying down into a dry, fresh and fruity rose / oud combination. There is litchi and raspberry, and I'm not sure I can smell them as separate notes, although I do smell a bit of fruit. The rose is dry and powdery, however the powder of this fragrance isn't too heavy. The oud is definitely in the background. This is definitely a woody aromatic on the dry-down and less oriental than you might expect. I also smell the vetiver and ylang-ylang in the dry-down. I have Vince Camuto's Smoked Oud in my collection, and that is a heavy, oily and darker oud fragrance. Montana Graphite Oud is a fresher fruity oud and rose. I give this one a 9 / 10 and highly recommend to add to your fragrance collection. Great for fall, winter, and evenings, but not sure if safe date night or for work.
