Niki de Saint Phalle was a French artist and fashion model who had a penchant for design. Her paintings made her famous in the early 60s and her artistic career flourished as she experimented with various approaches and styles. It wasn’t until the 1980s when she chose to move to perfumery. Her one scent was meant to be worn by bold and sophisticated women, much like she was. A very special perfume
This is a truly special fragrance. For lovers of chypre perfumes this is a must try. I find it multi layered and very long lasting. Sometimes similar to Aromatics Elixir - yet not - Vent Vert - yet not - wonderfully green/herbal/woody - magnificent! Hard to find the EDT in atomizer - please bring it back!

It's a very original smell, colored I may say... It combines a little of sweetness and a little of freshness, a very-very little scent of power. It's strong but it's soft, it's sweet but fresh and a little citrus, so many contrasts in one beautiful bottle!

I had the body cream about 30 years ago, but couldn't find it online so I bought the eau de toilette. It didn't smell the same to me. It didn't smell bad, just not the way I remembered the body cream.

Stunning fragrance
This very hard to find fragrance is one that I consider unforgettable. Every time I wear this cologne in public someone (usually men) ask me what I am wearing because they want to get it for their girlfriend/wife. It is a very sexy and seductive fragrance and it lasts. Really the fragrance gets better the longer you wear it and the longer it has to mix with your body chemistry. I would think it is probably not for every woman. It is a bold yet soft fragrance...if that makes any sense. If I wear it in the evening I use the body lotion after my shower and then the cologne. It will be softly present the next morning. It is just a beautiful fragrance and I truly hope I continue to be able to find it. So far, this is the most reasonably priced site to find Niki De St Phalle. Thank you!

This is my favorite fragrance ever I have worn it for years. It smells fantastic on me, I never fail to get compliments from everyone including random strangers. Some reviews say it doesn't hold, I think that depends on your personal chemistry it lingers on me to the extent that everything I own smells like it, even after being laundered. Enjoy!

I used to wear this 20years ago. Have looked for it many times in department stores. One day googled it and by suprise found it and for a great price. Got free shipping and also coupons for future purchases. Prices are great, this will be my new go to for Christmas and Birthday presents!

Years back, this fragrance was very popular especially with young females. But for a while, it was very hard to get probably because there were so many new fragrances that surfaced fast. There was too much competition in the market. Like Shalimar, I venture to say "Niki" will become popular again.

A Change-of-Pace Scent
Now and then I'm in the mood for something completely different, and this fragrance fits the bill. I've yet to encounter anything even remotely similar. It has an intriguing scent, but is definitely too exotic for me to gravitate to it on more than an occasional basis. Like an exclamation point, it's most effective if not overused.

I thought it was gone forever
I found this fragrance in my early 20s and would always get compliments. It became my signature fragrance and nothing else fit like Niki. After it left the market I tried many other fragrances but I could never get the same reaction. Finding it has made wearing fragrance fun again. I wear it all day and for night. If I put it on in the morning by evening it has blended and melded so that it is warm and subtle. If I add another splash for evening the layering works well. It still evokes compliments and I am now in my 40s!

I first discovered Niki de Saint Phalle in the 80's and had been searching for it for the past 10 years or more ... now I feel like I have been reacquainted with a long-lost friend and lover. This exquisite perfume with top notes that include Peach, Mugwort, Bergamot, and Mint, which descend into the beautiful middle notes of Jasmine, Rose, Clove, Iris, Ylang-Ylang, Cedar, and Patchouli and finish with base notes that are replete with Oakmoss, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Amber, and Musk is divine and wraps you in a cloak of mystery and sensuality. I am so happy to have rediscovered my signature scent.
