Ancient bottle, not great
The 30ml I got from Fragx is from 2008. I love the original 1881 so thought I'd try this one. Not for me and I guess not for most hence why fragx has them lying around from way back when. I wouldn't recommend this scent at all.

I tried it (Cerruti 1881 Black) but it smell nothing at all.
I tried it (Cerruti 1881 Black) but it smell nothing at all. The fragrance is very very weak and does not last even with many sprays (x8). It is not possible to get a full refund. I am very disappointed.

Long Lasting but Unoriginal
A soft, sweet woody scent that lasts and lasts. While very pleasant, it lacks originality and sits very close to the skin. Would be quite good for professional wear as it is unlikely to offend and versatile to suit casual situations also.

This is a Winner
I wear 1881 Black, and I get a great deal of compliments. Please don't take this the wrong way but the Lady's really like the smell of this Cologne they it stands out from other brands.

I am happy with the product, however I wished the fragrance to last longer and be slightly stronger in smell. I have not yet had the compliments but that may still come. I wear this fragrance to work but have to reapply it several times a day.

Amazing fall/winter scent
I have found that most spicier flavors of colognes typically have a musk to them. This almost has a cleaner note yet is a spicy fragrance. It will have people stopping you to ask what you're wearing. It's complex and yet not overpowering.
