This is perhaps the 3rd rose perfume I am trying & all smell the same: underwhelming & cheap. Sure it smells like rose from a knock off store; nothing fancy. I can't believe so many people have it a 5 star. This ain't the one sis.

soapy spiky lemony fresh rose
I like the fragrance so far, two sprays on the back of my hand and on a piece of paper, but it's the bottle that makes me swoon. Really gorgeous design with that pink glass and elegant stylized cap (plastic but it matches the glass perfectly). The rose isn't hyperrealistic or anything, but it is easily identifiable even amid the higher-pitched white florals. I like the soapiness--it's not as extreme as in True Love by Elizabeth Arden, which this reminded me of at first sniff--but the rose is jammy enough to counteract it. I don't care if this seems "old lady." One of my favorite fragrances is from 1912, so clearly I don't care about numbers. Update: wearing today; husband thinks it smells "OK, a little lemony/spiky." To me it smells like a fresh rose more than a jammy rose, but people perceive fragrances differently.

This is a go-to!
At first, I thought this fragrance was too "old lady" smelling, but you know what? It's like sticking your face into a flower bouquet and I'm into it. This is also the longest-lasting perfume I have ever tried and I get a lot of compliments on it. I highly recommend!!

1) The best way to describe this ROSE fragrance: a bouquet of fresh red roses were liquefied & concentrated into a perfume. 2) The scent/smell is amazingly light/floral/fresh & you just can't stop wanting to smell this fragrance!!! 3) Put a few sprays on (day of delivery) & all afternoon/evening ALL I could smell was ROSES!!! 4) Yet, the scent was sweet & subtle NOT an overwhelming/cheap smell. 5) Overall, JUST LOVELY/CLASSY fragrance. 6) Shipped in an EXTRA thick box & lined with packing paper. 7) Arrived in perfect NEW condition. 8) The perfume box is really cute!! And, is exactly as shown. So, is the perfume bottle!! A VERY cute little bottle to save & use for decoration on your vanity---which is what I plan on doing. 9) Delivery was just 3 1/2 days from placing order. 10) Made: USA.
