Smells Like an Old Perfume
The bottle I received might have been an old batch because it smells very strong and like it's been sitting on a shelf for a long time and went bad. I honestly have never smelled this before so not sure if it's mean to smell that way or not. I should have returned it but it's too late now.

Poor quality product with an odd - not usual - colour and not the usual beautiful small. The top that you press to spray the perfume was detached and would not fit back on. Maybe this was not the real thing????

This is a very powerful fragrance for an even powerful woman. You can overdo it real quick if you over spray. Just a little goes a long way. It does last and it drys down on me to a candy like smell . So far I like it but best for fall and winter or early spring while it's still cool out.

I'll definitally buy this perfume here again.
This is my Mom's all time favorite perfume. It's getting harder and harder to find in the stores so I was so happy to find it here. My Mom has been out of this perfume for awhile now. The bottle is much bigger than the bottles I used to buy her at the mall. The cost was a lot less too. It's going to be one of her Christmas gifts. I think she'll be shocked that I was able to find it. The shipping was very fast. I'll be buying perfume and cologne for all my family members, friends and myself from FragranceX. I'm a happy customer. I bought 4 things and the total came to less than what this one bottle of perfume would cost at the mall.

I buy this fragrance again and again.
I started wearing Desert Flower in elementary school, received from a grandmother who said it reminded her of her childhood in the Caribbean, so I've been wearing perfume my entire life. This fragrance is one of hundreds I have worn over the years and the only one I keep going back to. My aunt wore it in her Tampa Bay neighborhood when I visited her in the '90's. The brackish smell of the fresh water from the Tarpon Canal emptying into the Gulf, and this blend of aquatic and floral blew me away. She gave me her remaining fragrance and I have had a bottle ever since. I was married in Hawaii and this fragrance reminds me of the green scents wafting down from the West Maui Mountains, while the Pacific Ocean is crashing at my feet and night blooming jasmine is peeking from the hedges around the hotels on Waikiki, Oahu. Every other fragrance I have been drawn too is too weak, sweet, soapy, spicy, or woody. This blend is so well balanced that no ingredient singles itself out. The yellow and white florals are noticeable but not overwhelming and it stays with you. I lean toward powdery fragrances, but at times this fragrance can reveal itself as powdery and soapy, if that's possible. Even when I am not at the beach, I get a wiff of a marine scent that teases you while you are wearing it. This fragrance is a sure thing if you are seeking compliments from both men and women.

It doesn't mean that the perfume is bad. By no means! It's fine, just "not my cup of tea". There's some note in it, that irritates me (cannot define which one). I'm sure it can become a signature perfume for many. It has to choose you. I am the wrong one... The work of the company is great though.

This is a very unique perfume that draws compliments every time I wear it. People always want to know what it is! The only con is that I have started experiencing headaches from it recently so I try to apply lightly. A little goes a long way.

Ppl are always puzzled, can never guess what I'm wearing. I like to be a little different from the crowd and have worn this, my secret weapon, since its release in 1993. It's really a violet-scented version of YSL's Paris and just smells edible!

I had been given a bottle of this perfume but when I took it out of the box the sprayer on the top was missing, now I get to use both bottles. This is one of the two fragrances that I wear. The other one is poppies by Kenzo.

I always get compliments on my Perfume, I tell them what it is and where I buy it. It is you Favorite Perfume and for some time they discontinued it, I thought I would never be happy again then, I found it through Fragrance X and I was estatic about it. I have a few other Perfumes I like but this is IT. I have Cancer and wearing Perfumes is very hard as so many I cannot wear so, I only have about Seven that actually smell good on me but Volupte is the BEST SMELL so I pretty well stick with it.
