Difficult to place of what this unique scent reminds me

I liked this at first, as I love most scents by Penhaligon's. However, after letting it settle, I found the tobacco and leather base tones way too heavy on me. This is described as a unisex scent, but I could more likely see a lumberjack wearing it with full impact. I got it on sale and will keep it, but will not buy again.

Unusual

The scent was described as unisex, but is very masculine... too much so for me. I would recommend it to an outdoorsman... or person who likes leathery, tobacco smells.

It's a yes!

A very interesting perfume, unlike anything I have smelt before. Makes me think of grass and dirt and bricks and traffic - all in a good way! I stayed in Belgravia which is why I bought the scent, to remind me of a great experience. According to Fragrantica this scent has been discontinued. I have a rule that I don't buy back-up bottles but I may have to break my own rule with this one.
