Esprit Du Roi Cologne by Penhaligon's, Esprit Du Roi is a part of an Anthology Collection. This masculine fragrance was launched in 2011. The collection brings back classic formulations as a window into the trends of the past. Many of the colognes, including this particular scent, have been reformulated to better appeal to the modern man. The first layer of the fragrance has notes of cardamom absolute, tomato leaf, citrus, bergamot, davana essence, mint, aldehydes, mandarin and cedrat. As it builds, the heart notes of jasmine, clove, ylang-ylang, honeysuckle and geranium take over. The finish of the cologne sits on strong, earthy base notes of sandalwood, raspberry, white musk, cedar, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss, ambergris and Africa stone.

The British perfumery, Penhaligon's, was founded in 1870 as a barbershop, but by 1872 the company released its first fragrance. The brand is committed to traditional perfume scents with high-quality ingredients. Even the packaging of the cologne shows off this commitment to excellence with a simple glass bottle, blue ribbon and dark box. All products are original, authentic name brands. what is africa stone?

base note of hyracea a rodent's fossilized urine ok sort of musky floral woody all in all bright balanced and linear cologne originally presented
