Opus 1870 Cologne by Penhaligon's, Opus 1870 was created in 2005 and has a fresh spicy and woody fragrance that’s friendly and sensual. It opens with the breathtaking top notes of pepper, yuza, and a hint of coriander. The heart has the subdued notes of incense, cinnamon, and a touch of rose. The base is made up of a refreshing cedar and a soft blend of sandalwood and musk. This sophisticated scent is rather soft, making it ideal for meetings or dates.

This perfumery began its climb to fame as a barbershop in Great Britain, where William Penhaligon created his first fragrance in 1872. Gorgeous smell! Unique and interesting.

What a find; what a price!

Opus 1870 is not the easiest fragrance to find in the US since it is a British product (Penhaligon's). I was delighted to find it available at Fragrance X and at an unbelievable price. I use the product after bathing, sparingly on a daily basis.....a little goes a long way and the result is phenomenal. The compliments come in droves!
