Vaara Cologne by Penhaligon's, Introduced in 2013, Vaara is a complex unisex fragrance that will help you make a bold impression wherever you go. The spicy note of coriander combines with the tart note of quince and sweet rose water at the opening of the blend. At the heart of the perfume, floral notes of peony, magnolia, freesia and rose add a pleasant sweetness to the blend. At the closing of the perfume, the rich note of honey is balanced out by deeper, darker notes of musk, cedar, sandalwood and benzoin. This warm, unique fragrance would be perfect for daily wear.

Hey, everyone. Ses here. And today I'll be reviewing Vaara by Penhaligon's. A beautiful, unisex, floral first composed in 2013 by Bertrand Duchaufour. Quince and roses dominate the scent, supported by top notes of saffron, coriander, and carrot seeds. Hard notes of freesia, peony, and magnolia. And base notes of honey, benzoin, musk, cedar, tonka, and sandalwood. I recommend it for any season, but winter. And I think it's a great scent for professional settings. That's all for now. Lovely Surprise of a Fragrance

I purchased this blind based on reviews on other sites and the great price on FragranceX. The beautiful quince rose water scent lasts a good 8 hours on my skin. When I initially sprayed I got some on my top where the cardamom, saffron and carrot seed clung to the material and took over all the soft, fruit and floral notes. At the time I thought it was reminiscent of curry powder and thought to myself I'd made a mistake in buying this but after a few hours I started getting the rose water wafts. So, I would definitely recommend using on skin only and let it dry before getting fabric anywhere near it while it's freshly sprayed and wet. It's now a day later and I've smelt my top again and it has developed into a lovely fuller version of how the fragrance smells on my skin. It is a beautiful fragrance and I definitely recommend it just be aware if spraying it near fabric. The price from FragranceX is great and also delivery was surprisingly fast and fuss free to the U.K.
