Samba Ruby Perfume by Perfumers Workshop, Samba Ruby by Perfumer’s Workshop is a seductive blend of sweet and spicy accords. Introduced in 2016, this fragrance is meant to embody the sensuous, passionate nature of the ruby. The fragrance opens with fruity nectarine and strawberry, contrasted with bittersweet black licorice. The scent moves next to the heart of star anise (echoing the black licorice), dahlia and powdery rose. The fragrance closes with warm, earthy notes of tonka bean, benzoin, sandalwood orchid, patchouli and cedar.

Perfumer’s Workshop was founded in 1970 by Donald Bauchner. It was the first company to bring custom-blended fragrances to the public. Eventually, it developed its own fragrances to sell at perfume counters all over the world. The first fragrance series, Tea Rose, was very well received by the public, including celebrities such as Princess Grace of Monaco and Nicole Kidman.
