Centaure Yellow Cologne by Pierre Cardin, Centaurea Diamant Noir, also known as Centaure Yellow, is a classically fresh and aromatic men's fragrance released in 1998. The opening notes are a crisp, invigorating blend of sparkling citrus, mint and green foliage. As the tartness of the introduction begins to warm on the skin, herbal and woody notes become more noticeable, fusing licorice-tinged lavender and lightly bitter, earthy fig leaf with the velvety musk nuances of oak moss. Wood tones persist through the dry down, joining tobacco and vetiver to produce a rich, distinctly masculine finish with long-lasting projection.

Originally trained in architecture, Italian-born Pierre Cardin is a French fashion designer whose futuristic styles transformed the world of couture during the 1950s and 1960s. In 1972 Cardin began offering fragrances in partnership with Coty. House scents were made in collaboration with perfumers Martin Gras, Raymond Chaillan, Francoise Caron, Benoist Lapouza, Dora Baghriche, Olivier Cresp, Daniel Moliere, Christine Nagel, Christophe Raynaud and Bertrand Duchaufour.
