Launched in 2008 as a part of a series created to celebrate Florence's rich history, this perfume utilizes saffron, a precious spice that has been used since ancient times for a variety of purposes, believed to have healing properties and seen as a symbol of light. Blended with the spiciness of aromatic saffron rose can be detected, adding a light and feminine note to the perfume. Other floral notes of jasmine and lily-of-the-valley are used as well, before finishing off with a classic base of amber and cedar. This scent comes in a rectangular bottle encased inside of a wooden frame.
