The opening is bitter, bracing and green, intermingling spicy basil, resinous and musky galbanum and a slight hint of cassis with black pepper and piney mastic. This bright, brusque introduction softens to a warm and sensual heart of leather, labdanum and rhododendron. The base notes add depth and complexity, rounding out this unnerving yet compelling scent with tarry guaiac wood, powdery amber, and dark and bitter vetiver.

Project Renegades is a niche fragrance collection that is the result of the collaboration of three classically-trained perfumers who decided to throw caution to the wind and follow their own sensory instincts: Bertrand Duchaufour, Geza Schoen and Mark Buxton.
