Songo is recognized mostly as the manufacturer of the men’s scent Jade East. This iconic scent from the 60’s and 70’s was a competitor with the likes of Brut and English Leather and was launched by Swank, Inc. in 1963. The American manufacturer was known for its jade rings, for which the fragrance was named. The company was one of the first to market men’s fragrances on television, and inspired a variety of other companies to begin creating fragrances and apparel with Asian motifs. Since the initial release of Jade East, the brand has rejuvenated the scent with revisions like Jade East Golden Line, Jade East Coral, and Forever Jade, a fragrance for women. Love It!
I bought this fragrance without knowing how it smelled. I bought it solely based on the reviews here and on another website. I must say that I am not disappointed. My mother also loves the fragrance of it and we take turns wearing it. The first notes when you spray it on gives you spicy and may be a little too strong if you over spray. You can't use a lot. After an hour or two, it tones down to a nice powdery fresh scent with a milder spiciness to it. This fragrance will last and you do not need to carry it in your purse to re-spray.

Favorite Perfume Found!!
I have searched for 10+ years for this perfume! The store I always bought from quit selling and I couldn't find it anywhere. I have compliments daily on my perfume! Love it!

Absolutely love this cologne!!
Love this cologne. Wore it for several years and have never gotten so many compliments, then I could no longer find it! One day someone asked what happened to the cologne I wore years ago and it got me to thinking about looking it up on the internet and I found it. So happy, love it just as much as I did 15 yrs ago!!

"Hard to find item"
This fragrance is one of the few items that I'm not allergic to. My Mom has used this fragrance for years, then it got to the point we couldn't find it. So I decided that it would be a good CHRISTmas present for her. She loved it and couldn't believe that I found it!
