Charles of the Ritz was a cosmetics brand that was founded in 1919 by hairdresser Charles Jundt, who worked at the Ritz Hotel in Manhattan, New York. The brand added perfume to its offerings in 1927, with the Jean Nate line of fragrances and body splashes introduced in 1935. The company changed hands several times, first to pharmaceutical company Squibb in 1972, then to Yves Saint Laurent in 1986, and finally to American cosmetics and fragrances company Revlon in 1987. Revlon started in 1932 as a developer of nail enamel. Revlon retired the Charles of the Ritz brand in 2002 and renamed its fragrances under its own name. This is my goto after-bath splash, has been for years. It's easily absorbed into the skin and seems to disappear, but when you're hot it releases a beautiful light fragrance. It doesn't clash with other scents you may layer on top.

Good memory scent.
Just like a certain song takes you back in time a certain fragrance does it for me and that was Jean Nate after bath splash. Used to wear it all the time back in my early 20's. Now 50 years later still brings back some youthful memories.

I just love Jean Nate by Revlon
I use it all over my body after I shower and feel and smell nice and clean and receive many complements from others on the smell. Do not ever stop making it.!! I've been using Jean Nate for over 40 years! I have also given this product to friends because they loved the fresh smell.

THIS FORMULA IS NOT THE SAME AS THE BODY SPLASH
I LOVE Jean Nate! I have been using it for over 25 years. I decided to try this spray. I was a little disappointed because it does not have the same fragrance as the After Bath Splash. It is a little harsh and does not have that "zing" to it. I do not think I will purchase this spray again.

Love Gene nate after bath splash After a long day Landscaping my arms and legs are left with scratches from trimming prickly bushes I use Gene after bath splash and I can sense a little burning on my scratches. It actually sterilizes my scratches and AIDS in the healing process. Not only does this product smell great and gives you a nice clean fresh send it also helps heal the skin faster. Nope. Not Again
The Jean Nate I got from FragranceX was made in Mexico. The original was made in France. There is no comparison between the two. The Mexican version smells like a lab and feels sticky. I won't be buying from this site again unless the description tells me where the product was made.

I used to use this all the time during the summer, after my shower. It was always refreshing. Haven't used it in awhile, so thought I would order some. When it arrived, I was a little disappointed. It has an underlying smell of plastic. I don't know if it is the container or what. I will continue to use, but probably will not buy it again.

Same Quality For Many Years!
I grew up using this splash after showering as a kid and have not used it for over 20 years. Bought it on a nostalgic whim and boy, am I glad that I did! Same fresh scent! They have not changed the formulation which is delightful.

I was excited when I found Jean Nate on FragranceX.
This fragrance brought me back 25 years. It was always my go to after a bath. I loved it because when I woke up in the morning when my body got warm I could still smell the fresh citrusy scent. Best fresh scent, can use under other perfumes no problem. Put it on all over right out of the shower - the scent almost disappears, and then comes out as you get warm. Soft, fresh and feminine. one of my favourites. I use it everyday.
