Robert Piguet pursued a career in fashion at an extremely young age, going against his family’s wishes to pursue a career in finance. It was not long until he was able to go out on his own and launch his own brand house. After he met Germaine Cellier, a famous perfumer, his brand started launching its own fragrances. Different from what I remember
This smells different from what I remember years ago. Visa was reformulated and was unavailable for years. Still, this is a very nice perfume that I will use along with my other favorites.

Robert Piguet Visa - just gorgeous
Visa is a perfume from 1945 by perfumer Germaine Collier that has been reformulated by Aurelien Guichard and brought back on the market. It is an oriental fragrance which lingers for ages. It opens with notes of violet leaf, Italian bergamot and mandarin. The heart is a bouquet of floral aromas of ylang-ylang, rose, orange blossom and the peach and pear fruit notes. The base notes are includes patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss, vanilla, and leather. It is a sophisticated scent, that is gorgeous from the moment it is applied.

Strong and sweet
Has an intense sweetness on first application. It reminds me of raisins soaked fruit cordial. It moderates over time to a very wearable spicy woody scent with a leather undertone. I will use it occasionally but, since I wear perfume mainly to please myself, the initial blast will keep it from being a favorite for me.

Love it!
I did not fall in love with this perfume right away, I thought it reminded me of Angel. Nevertheless, after a few days, I loved it! It is sophisticated, lasts long, smells like nothing else and I especially like is smells on my skin a few hours after application.

Wonderful!
Wonderful and powerful; not easy to wear, but easier to wear than the other Piguet perfumes; I own them all and this is the sweetest; very youthful, feminine, vanillic in the drydown, lasts for hours. Resembles slightly Midnight Poison and Angel, but without the synthetic feel the latest has, without being suffocating; just sexy, elegant, adventurous. Not as wild as Bandit, not as voluptuous as Fracas, not as exotic as Baghari; still has that definite Piguet class.
