Roberto Cavalli is a luxury Italian fashion design house, founded by Roberto Cavalli in 1970. Born to an artistic family, the young Cavalli studied art, and textile printing in particular. He debuted his fashion line in Paris in 1970 and opened his own atelier soon afterward. The company is known for its exotic and glamorous looks and its prevalent use of colorful silks, animal prints, leather and denim. The fashion house now sells womenswear, menswear, fragrance and vodka. It released its first fragrance in 2002. All products are original, authentic name brands. Wow! Exquisite Arabian Oud! Beautiful!
My wife was looking for a nice oud with excellent performance, projection, and sillage. We tried a few to no avail, until ... Oud Al Qasr by Roberto Cavalli. Another person who rated this here "hated" it. Well, just as all "reviews" such as this, it is a subjective point of view only. Being an owner of a fragrance website, I can tell you from experience that when you have a lovely and exotic fragrance like this and someone doesn't like it, it's not because the fragrance sucks (so to speak). It's because it sucks on their skin. On my wife's skin, this juice is heavenly! Don't pass it up just because some other person hasn't the skin for it. It is not the fragrance's fault; it's theirs. =========================== The DNA in Oud Al Qasr is top-notch quality with 8+ hours of performance! If you have an aversion to oud, steer clear, but if Arabian scents are your thing, THIS ONE is your thing!
