Valentina Di Guido Crepax Cologne by Roveri & Aura, Introduced in 1989, Valentina Di Guido Crepax is a men’s fragrance inspired by an Italian comic artist of the same name. This masculine scent is anything but cartoonish, with its woody, floral notes that make a delicious blend for daytime use. It opens with top notes of bergamot, lemon, and hyacinth, giving a decidedly citrus start. The middle notes bring in floral influences with carnation, rose, orchid, and jasmine. Richness grounds the scent with base notes of tonka bean, cedar, musk, and amber wood, adding a complexity to counterbalance the lighter, floral aspects.



This scent is one of two created by Italian perfumier Roveri & Aura. Their other scent is a women’s cologne, which was also launched around the same time. While not much is known about the designer, the scent itself is quite memorable because of its unique twist on a male floral fragrance as dreamlike as Crepax’s main comic character, Valentina, for whom it is named.
