The opening is a tart-sweet yet richly balanced effusion of ripe plum, green apple, pomegranate and melon harmonized with hints of toffee, palm date and spicy nuances of black pepper. Shimmering iris and lemony-fresh red rose emerge at the heart, accompanied by serene tones of soft sandalwood and clean, aromatic cedar. Rich yet refined wood and resin accords of oud and olibanum merge with musk, honey and vanilla to produce a mesmerizing finish that is truly ambrosial.
This men’s and women’s scent was released by Italian luxury label Royal Crown Perfumes and Colognes in 2016 and designed by Antonio Visconti. Wow! This fragrance is a power house! Outstanding performance. 12 hours later and I still smell it. Trust me a little goes a long way. Ambrosia is sweet, powdery and so well done. I love it. Definitely for the gourmand lover. The first initial spray reminds me of Lolita Limpicka with its licorice sweet goodness but there are no licorice notes in this fragrance that I am aware of. But once it starts to dry down the Oud, frankincense and honey make their appearance. It's so lovely!
