Shanghai Tang Spring Jasmine Perfume by Shanghai Tang, Part of the Silk Road fragrance collection launched in 2014, Shanghai Tang Spring Jasmine is a women’s perfume with a white floral main accord. Packaged in a gem-like flacon with a rounded, gold topper and a green lacquered box, the fragrance showcases the Chinese symbol, shou, which means longevity, A prized Chinese blessing and life goal. It has a bamboo top note with a dominant jasmine heart note, accompanied by other flower middle notes. The olibanum base note provides foundation to the perfume, which has moderate longevity and sillage. The scent works best during spring and summer days. The brand partnered with master perfumer Carlos Benaim of International Flavors and Fragrances to develop the Silk Road collection.
